AQUAMAN Will Now Arrive Two Months Later Than Expected
Over on Twitter, The Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit has revealed something of a release date shuffle:
AQUAMAN release date news: the DC movie pushed back 2 months, moves from Oct 5, 2018 to Dec 21, 2018.
— Borys Kit (@Borys_Kit) March 16, 2017
Yes, James Wan's Aquaman will now arrive two months later than expected. Those of you who were planning to start line-camping at the end of this month may want to consider putting that off until the end of May, so as not to spend a completely unreasonable amount of time waiting in line to see Aquaman.
Kit goes on to explain that, "Avatar 2 was holding that Dec 21, 2018 spot but now that James Cameron has pushed the sequels, Aquaman has swam right in." You'll recall that James Cameron recently revealed - in a shocking announcement that rocked the film blogger industry to its very core - that the long-in-development Avatar sequel wasn't going to make its December 2018 release date. I know, we were all shocked.
So, that's the news: Avatar 2 out, Aquaman in for December 2018. Please plan accordingly.
