David S. Pumpkins Is Back!
Watch out, guys. Now he’s armed.
One of last night’s best SNL sketches was a prerecorded rap song that never gets off the ground because of its plethora of guest appearances, most of whom probably could have used more screentime (I’m looking at you, Kathleen Bell and Essentially Simon).
The video is glorious all by itself, so it came as a huge surprise when internet superstar David S. Pumpkins popped up:
He has a new name and replaced his skeleton buds with a couple guns, but that’s still our main man Pumpkins. I don’t know what his rap game is like, but at least he can hand-dance.
I know, I know. The Pumpkins return will strike many of you as cheesy and played out, but I just can’t contain my excitement. I love the guy. And hey, it’s not like they gave him a whole sketch.
