The Rock And Tom Hanks Announce 2020 Presidential Campaign
Not really. But maybe really?
The Rock had a big night last night. Not only did he finally get inducted into the five-timer’s club (that makes two new members in a row!) but he also announced his campaign to run for president in 2020. He’d have a good shot all by himself, but he’s not alone. His running mate will be America’s Favorite Tom Hanks:
Obviously this is all a joke (it is a joke, right?) and it’s a pretty good one. I have to admit, a Rock-Hanks ticket is kind of appealing, but obviously it could never happen because of what it would do to the Fast & Furious franchise. Priorities.
All in all, this was a super strong SNL in general and a great close to what’s been a very strange and remarkable season. I can’t wait to see what happens next for the show.
