Tom Holland Wants Chris Pratt To Play Sully In The UNCHARTED Movie

It's an origin story, so this one's not as crazy as it sounds.

In between one thing and another, you may have missed the news that Spider-Man: Homecoming's Tom Holland has signed on to play a young Nathan Drake in Sony's forthcoming Uncharted movie, which will basically be an origin story about Drake's early years.

Well, here's another thing you might be interested to hear: Holland says he'd like Chris Pratt or Jake Gyllenhaal to play the Uncharted: Origins version of Sully, the roguish scoundrel who mentors Drake in the art of treasure huntin' before eventually becoming his partner in crime.

Here's Holland, speaking to Yahoo! Movies (as quoted by CinemaBlend):

"I think Jake Gyllenhaal could be really cool. But I actually went to the Jurassic World 2 film set the other day to visit my friend who's directing it and Chris Pratt is on that film, who I've become very good friends with over the last few months. I think he would be a great Sully, I think it could be cool. Because if it was an older movie, I would say that Chris should play Nathan, but I think he would be a cool Sully, and I love working with Chris, so if I could work with Chris some more that would be great."

Speaking as a fan of Naughty Dog's Uncharted series, Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal and Chris Pratt, let me be the first (or 700th) to say: uh, yikes. Holland playing a young version of Nathan Drake is a pretty solid choice, but Gyllenhaal or Pratt for Sully? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around either of those choices.
