Danai Gurira Reprising BLACK PANTHER Role in INFINITY WAR
The Black Panther trailer smashed a lot of 24-hour viewing records, surpassing not only Captain America: Civil War, but Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One. We’re officially at a point where any piece of news about this film is met with maximum hype, and rightly so. The next bit of info to get excited about? Danai Gurira showing up in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War.
According to Deadline, the Walking Dead and All Eyez On Me co-star will be a part of the Russo brothers’ unprecedented Marvel crossover. She plays Okoye in Black Panther, leader of the Dora Milaje (the fearsome all-female Wakandan royal guard) and loyal friend to T’Challa, and I guess she makes it out of that movie alive. Spoilers.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theatres on April 27th or May 4th, depending on where you find yourself in 2018. It will feature every Marvel character ever. Probably some DC characters too.
