Netflix’s GAGA: FIVE FOOT TWO Looks Absolutely Incredible

Get ready to get hyped about a Lady Gaga documentary.

Maybe you don't like Lady Gaga's music. Maybe you simply grew tired of the spectacle surrounding Gaga, the elaborate costumes and over-the-top theatrics that often threatened to eclipse the music itself. Maybe you think you don't need another candid, all-access, behind-the-scenes music documentary.

Fine, fine. Fair enough.

But before you write off Netflix's Gaga: Five Foot Two completely, I'd implore you to watch the following trailer, which just put Chris Moukarbel's forthcoming documentary on our radar in a major way.

This thing looks amazing.

Gaga: Five Foot Two debuted earlier this month at the Toronto International Film Festival, and the response was strong. I'll admit to not being terribly interested in the doc prior to seeing this trailer, but hey, that just goes to show how effective a truly great trailer can be.

Here's an official plot synopsis (as if you needed one):

"Filmmaker Chris Moukarbel introduces the woman behind the performer, the costumes, the glitz and the glamour."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, some critics are already comparing Five Foot Two to Alek Keshishian's Madonna: Truth Or Dare. If the trailer above didn't get you intrigued, maybe that'll do it. We're definitely onboard, and looking forward to finding out if Gaga: Five Foot Two lives up to the hype when it hits Netflix on September 22nd (that's later this week!). How 'bout you folks?
