Jordan Peele Is Making A Show About Nazi Hunters In 1970s America

This is not a drill.

It would appear that Jordan Peele is not interested in fucking around.

On the heels of the announcement that he’s producing Spike Lee’s new film The Black Klansman, the true story of an African-American police officer who successfully infiltrated the Klan in 1978, we have word that Peele is executive producing The Hunt, which is described by The Hollywood Reporter thusly:

Inspired by true events, The Hunt follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters in 1970s America as they set out on a quest for revenge and justice — tracking and killing hundreds of Nazis who, with the unconscionable help of the U.S. government, escaped justice and embedded themselves in American society.

Whoa. As of this writing, The Hunt is described by BMD thusly:

Holy shit 1970s Nazi hunters yes please.

David Weil will write and executive produce with Peele for Sonar Entertainment. There’s no network attached yet; expect a bidding frenzy. The Age of Peele is shaping up to be something special indeed.
