Yesterday, a few members of the BMD team caught Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049, and the response was strong (speaking only for myself: I think it's one of the year's best films, and a more-than-worthy follow-up to Ridley Scott's 1982 classic). If you've been on the fence about giving it a shot, I really cannot recommend the film enough. The BMD crowd will likely love it.

On a related note, here's another Blade Runner 2049 thing you'll probably enjoy: a rollicking interview with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling on British chat show This Morning. The interviewer, Alison Hammond, is an absolute delight. Ryan Gosling and his sweater: also delights. Even notable cranky-pants Harrison Ford is a delight here, in an unusually upbeat mood (and displaying some serious comic timing).
