Lizzy Caplan To Assassinate Some Fools In GAMBIT
I've been in love with Lizzy Caplan since Mean Girls, and watching her career evolve into what it is today (co-starring in everything from Party Down to Seth Rogen comedies like The Interview andThe Night Before) has been a real treat.
Now, Caplan's set to take on the role of Bella Donna Boudreaux in Gore Verbinski's upcoming Gambit movie. Bella Donna's the daughter of the leader of the New Orleans Assassins’ Guild and Remy LeBeau’s first love, so we should probably expect Channing Tatum's titular mutant to be loving up on the lethal lady before she throws down with some chumps.
Gambit is shaping up to be a rather curious project, as Verbinski's unusual visual schematic will place his rather talented cast in some colorful predicaments. Here's hoping it all comes together and delivers on the filmmaker-forward process Fox has put into place since the huge successes of both Deadpool and Logan.
Gambit hits theaters February 14th, 2019.
