See Adam Driver Ride A Donkey In THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE

Terry Gilliam's legendarily troubled production is finally going to see the light of day.

If you've seen Lost In La Mancha, then you know just how long Terry Gilliam has struggled to bring The Man Who Killed Don Quixote to the screen. That documentary showcased the somewhat cursed production (which originally was set to star Johnny Depp), but Gilliam has now managed to finally shoot the movie last year, with a cast that includes Adam Driver, Jonathan Pryce, Olga Kurylenko, Joana Ribeiro, and Stellan Skarsgård.

Gilliam reportedly held a screening for cast, crew and friends last October and was very pleased with the final product. Now, there's a single still of Adam Driver on a donkey that's been transmitted out into the world, giving us a visual confirmation of the film's existence. In fairness to Jonathan Pryce, he is also in the photo.

Amazon is releasing this new version of Don Quixote, but no date is set as of yet. Fingers crossed we get to see it sooner rather than later.
