Trailer For KODACHROME Sends Jason Sudeikis On A Miserable Road Trip

And Ed Harris looks to be the most unbearable father ever.

If the early reviews of Kodachome - which debuted at last year's Toronto International Film Festival - are to be believed, the movie's mostly a mixed bag of solid performances trapped inside a somewhat routine road comedy.

Anger, laughs, tears and redemption are achieved along the line for a son (Jason Sudeikis) reuniting with his dying, bastard of a genius photographer father (Ed Harris). The whole time, the expiring man's nurse (Elizabeth Olsen) keeps poking and prodding her patient's seed to try and find the good in his dad during the man's final days.

Netflix picked up the rights to distribute what looks to be more pleasant filler for their content wasteland, and now there's a trailer cut for you to decide if you'll put it on in the background while you fold laundry one day.

Take a look:

I dunno, it looks fine. I mean, let's be honest - I'd watch Ed Harris read the phone book. So, count me in for a lazy Sunday afternoon viewing when I've got little better to do, and there aren't any decent brunch specials in the area.

Kodachrome hits Netflix on April 20th.
