Guillermo del Toro Just Landed His Very Own Horror Series on Netflix

Get ready for 10 AFTER MIDNIGHT.

Here's something worth celebrating: Netflix is giving Guillermo del Toro his very own horror anthology series.

To be called 10 After Midnight, the show will feature episodes written and directed by del Toro himself, alongside other installments from writers and filmmakers of his choosing. The mind reels at the possibilities inherent in this idea.

Admittedly, there's nothing further to report at this time (in the grand Netflix tradition, it's likely we won't hear too much more about this one until a trailer arrives out of nowhere), but you can rest assured we're going to be keeping a close eye on this particular project as it works its way through production.

In the meantime: ya think del Toro will do a Lovecraftian episode? Which other filmmakers do you think he'll bring in to write and direct? How amazing is it that we live in a world where we're getting a horror anthology series from Guillermo del Toro and a new Twilight Zone series from Jordan Peele? Sound off (and celebrate along with us!) in the space provided below, gang.
