This STRANGE ANGEL Trailer Wants You To Join Its Sex Magick Rocket Science Club

Ridley Scott and David Lowery are bringing the true story of the world's weirdest scientist to CBS All Access.

Before she left, one of the last gifts our great former head Meredith Borders gave me was Strange Angel: The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons. She knew I was super excited about Ridley Scott and David Lowery's upcoming series, and I devoured the text in no time.

Parsons led one of the craziest lives you could imagine. A genius through and through, he dabbled in both the occult and rocket science, wanting to push the world forward in ways it wasn't ready for. Now, the Scott-produced, Lowery-helmed (at least, the pilot is directed by the A Ghost Story auteur) series is coming to CBS All Access, with Jack Reynor (Sing Street) as Parsons.

The project just got its first trailer, which promises a ton of sex, weirdness and madness, just like the man's actual existence. Take a look:

That looks cool as hell, and I can't wait to see how they brought the more lurid aspects of Parsons' days to life. While Ridley didn't helm any of the episodes, he and Lowery recruited English madman Ben Wheatley (High-Rise) to step behind the lens for one installment, and the supporting cast includes Rupert Friend (Homeland), Bella Heathcoate (The Neon Demon), and Greg Wise (The Crown).

Strange Angel hits CBS All Access June 14th. We'll be there.
