Here’s Everything on The INFINITY WAR Blu-ray (Including a Bunch of Deleted Scenes)

The home video release of Marvel's pop culture juggernaut is absolutely stacked.

So, you may have heard that Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War is headed to digital and home video. This is accurate. That's what happens with most movies - they hit the theater, they make some money (or they don't), and then they're made available for you, the gentle viewer, to consume at your leisure from the comfort of your home, apartment or slowly-sinking boat house. Honestly, I'm not sure why I have to explain this. Let's move on.

Today we've learned what kind of special features we can expect to find on the home video release of Infinity War, and - as expected - this set is packed to the gills with cool featurettes, a gag reel, a directors' commentary, deleted scenes, and what-have-you.

We'll get to the specs in just a second, but first: here's what it looks like...

Pretty snazzy, yeah?

OK, well, here's the special features (as helpfully listed out by our friends over at Slashfilm), starting with featurettes:

Strange Alchemy (5:08)– Share the thrill of characters from across the MCU meeting for the first time—and discover why some were teamed up together.
The Mad Titan (6:34) – Explore the MCU’s biggest, baddest villain, his trail of influence through the stories, and the existential threat he represents.
Beyond the Battle: Titan (9:36) – Dive into the climactic struggle on Thanos’ ruined world, including the epic stunts and VFX, to uncover the source of its power.
Beyond the Battle: Wakanda (10:58) – Go behind the scenes to find out how the filmmakers pulled off the most massive and challenging battle Marvel had ever attempted.

And here's the deleted/extended scenes, which clock in at a total 10:07:

Happy Knows Best (1:23) – Tony and Pepper spar over the details of their upcoming wedding—until a hassled Happy Hogan pulls up with an urgent request.
Hunt for the Mind Stone (1:24) – On a darkened street, Wanda Maximoff and the wounded Vision attempt to hide from Thanos’ brutal allies.
The Guardians Get Their Groove Back (3:20) – As Peter Quill and Drax quarrel over their failed mission to Knowhere, Mantis interrupts with news.
A Father’s Choice (4:00) – Thanos confronts Gamora with a vision from her past—and with lying to him about the Soul Stone.

But, wait! There's more!

Gag Reel (2:05)– Watch your favorite Super Heroes make super gaffes in this lighthearted collection of on-set antics.
Audio Commentary (approx. 149 min.) by Anthony and Joe Russo, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely

"On-set antics"? We love on-set antics! And two straight minutes of them! Plus a commentary! Yes, we'll definitely be buying this one when it arrives, secure in the knowledge that these are the only special features this disc could possibly contain, and that the studio certainly isn't withholding anything that might be incorporated into a future home video release which combines both Infinity War and its sequel into one easily-stored package! That was a long sentence.

Anyway. You folks picking this one up when it drops on August 14th, or not so much? Sound off in the comments below.
