Tim Heidecker Joins The Cast of Jordan Peele’s GET OUT Follow-Up

No idea what it's about or who he's playing.

According to Variety, Tim And Eric's Tim Heidecker has joined the cast of Jordan Peele's Us. The film - Peele's first since winning an Oscar for Get Out - is said to be another "social thriller" in the same vein as that horror blockbuster.

Details beyond that are scarce; we have no idea what it's about or who Heidecker will be playing. We do know, however, who Heidecker will be appearing alongside: as previously reported, the Us cast also includes Lupita Nyong’o, Elisabeth Moss and Winston Duke. It'll be along on March 15th, 2019.

It's kind of nice not knowing anything about Us, isn't it? It's also impressive to see the production maintaining this level of secrecy: outside of the average Star Wars joint or the next Bad Robot production, it's far more common to have most of a film spoiled long before the first trailer even arrives. Even those of us whose job it is to cover this industry have no idea what Us is about.

Anyway, if you've seen Entertainment or The Comedy or, indeed, any five-minute stretch of Tim and Eric, Awesome Show, Great Job!, you probably don't need to be told that Heidecker can be an unsettling and intimidating presence when called upon to do so. Here's hoping Peele hired him on specifically to let his freak flag fly.

Stay tuned for more on Us as it becomes available.
