SDCC 2018: GLASS Didn’t Come All The Way To San Diego To Drop Spoilers
You didn’t think M. Night Shyamalan was going to bring Glass to Comic-Con and just spoil the shit out of it did you? Of course not. He did provide a great trailer, however, which you can see here, but actual details about the film were about as sparse as you’d expect.
Joining Shyamalan was of course, his cast (minus a sick James McAvoy): Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Anya Taylor Joy, and Sarah Paulson. Everyone got to talk once. Pretty much no one but Shyamalan got talk twice. Samuel Jackson still managed to say “motherfucker”.
One minor tidbit we all could have predicted involved the film’s rating: they’re definitely going for a PG-13. We also learned that in its current edit, McAvoy’s Kevin plays 21 different personalities, so look for a ton of new funny voices from the guy.
While it was cool to see Bruce Willis up there with Samuel L. Jackson, this whole thing was really all about delivering that trailer. We all know we’re excited about the film. Now’s the time for us to finally get a look at it. Scott already wrote the trailer up, but I have to say there was way more David Dunn action and way less Elijah Price action than I was expecting. Still, I can’t help but be excited for this one.
