SDCC 2018: We’re Loving The First SHAZAM! Trailer

The hits just keep on coming: on top of an excellent first trailer for Godzilla: King of The Monsters and the very first footage from Wonder Woman 1984, Warner Bros. just dropped the first trailer for next year's Shazam!

And, oh man. This looks like a lot of fun.

We all had a laugh when the Shazam! movie was announced, but even we're wrong from time to time: this looks cute, fun, and like the complete opposite of so many DCU movies we've seen up to this point. Consider us very pleasantly surprised (check out how good that suit looks in action!), and hyped to see what director David Sandberg and company have done with the rest of the film.

Here's an official plot synopsis, which is admittedly very bare bones:

"A magic word allows a boy to transform into an adult superhero."
