Hans Zimmer Getting Back In The Game To Score WONDER WOMAN 1984

Hans Zimmer has signed on to score Wonder Woman 1984. Patty Jenkins returns to direct Gal Gadot as the titular hero. Hans first scored the character in Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman - Dawn Of Justice back in 2016, giving Wonder Woman her now iconic theme. Rupert Gregson-Williams, Hans's longtime collaborator, scored the first Wonder Woman film in 2017. 

First of all, this is great news because Hans Zimmer's a helluva composer, and any film that's able to bring him on as a collaborator is a lucky film, indeed.

But it's also interesting because Zimmer somewhat-famously retired from scoring superhero movies back in 2016, following the release of Batman V Superman - Dawn of Justice. Presumably, whatever director Patty Jenkins has planned for her highly-anticipated sequel was enough to convince Zimmer to get back in the game.
