The Directors Of SWISS ARMY MAN Are Reuniting Michelle Yeoh And Awkwafina For Their Next Film
If you don't know Swiss Army Man, you don't know shit.
Seriously, if you haven't seen Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert's film Swiss Army Man, perhaps better known as Harry Potter And The Existential Bromance With A Farting Corpse Who May Or May Not Be The Manifestation Of Paul Dano's Neuroses And Depression, you are missing out on one of the craziest, most surreal films to come out in the last few years. Kwan and Scheinert, known collectively as The Daniels, are filmmakers to keep an eye on, and it's remarkably exciting to hear that they have another project.
It's called Everything Everywhere All At Once. What do we know about it? Well, according to The Hollywood Reporter it's "an interdimensional action film." That's it.
Well, except for the fact that the film appears to be another two-hander that will reunite Crazy Rich Asians stars Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina! Anyone who has seen the film knows that these two deliver the most show-stealing performances of the entire (very talented) cast, but their characters don't ever interact during the film – at least to this writer's recollection – so the chance to see these two work together more directly is absolutely welcome.
We'll let you know when we hear more about Everything Everywhere All At Once, but in the meantime feel free to sound off in the comments about what this very exciting collection of talent could possibly be cooking up. Seriously, we have no god damn idea, and that is incredibly exciting.
