Remain Calm, But WONDER WOMAN 1984 Just Got Delayed Until 2020

We can be patient.

Here's some unexpected news: according to The Hollywood Reporter, Patty Jenkins' highly-anticipated Wonder Woman 1984 has been bumped from its November 2019 release date, all the way to June 5th, 2020.

Says Warner Bros.' head of domestic distribution:

“We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the summer so when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did. This move lands the film exactly where it belongs.”

Obviously, this is kind of a bummer for everyone who was hoping to spend next Thanksgiving with Wonder Woman, but probably good news for Terminator 6 and Sonic The Hedgehog, both of which were slated to open (and probably get steamrolled) the week after Wonder Woman 1984's arrival.

Nothing further to report at this time, but of course you should stay tuned for further updates on Wonder Woman 1984 as they become available. In the meantime, have you folks revisited the OG Wonder Woman recently? Still think it's the best of the DCU? Not so much? Sound off below.
