New GHOSTBUSTERS May Give Finn Wolfhard And Carrie Coon Back To The Fans

The new Ghostbusters directed by Jason Reitman is all the rage at the moment. And given that it’s supposed to hit theaters next summer, it looks like we’re going to be hearing a lot of news about it in the coming weeks.

That’s starting today with casting rumors. According to Variety, both Finn Wolfhard and Carrie Coon are being eyed to star in the film. Apparently the plot is going to revolve around a single mother and her crew of kids. The idea here is for Coon to be that mom and Wolfhard to be one of those kids. Or maybe the only kid. Or maybe there are a bunch and he plays them all. I don’t know. All I know is we already know what he looks like dressed as a Ghostbuster, so the imagination going into this one is clearly way off the charts.

How all that ends up being a Ghostbusters movie that will give the franchise back to the fans is anyone’s guess at this point, but I’m sure a lot of you out there are eager to find out. In the meantime, standby for more casting which I'm sure is just around the corner.
