THE DEAD DON’T DIE Trailer Plays Like Its Own Great April Fool’s Joke

The idea of Jim Jarmusch doing a zombie movie is one thing. The idea of Jim Jarmusch doing a zombie with a super exciting cast is even better. But now that the trailer for The Dead Don't Die has arrived, revealing the film to be a wacky deadpan comedy, I think it is safe to say this could be 2019's most important film. Check it out:

Oh man. It's like a who's who of Jarmusch latest players, all working on the same joke. I'll take basically any flavor of Jarmusch you want to throw at me, but watching him in full-on comedy mode is really going to be fun. Also, am I crazy or is that the diner from Diner?

I know it's April Fool's Day and you were all set up to see some wacky shit for the next twenty-four hours. But sometimes life gets way ahead of you and offers a trailer in which Tilda Swinton fucks up zombies with a katana. What are you going to do, complain about how awesome that is?

The Dead Don't Die begins owning the summer June 14.
