SDCC 2019: Soooo, We’ll Be Seeing A Lot Of Familiar Faces On PICARD

We’re still waiting to see if the Picard trailer just shown at Comic-Con will make it online. But in the meantime, here’s a text version of some major shit it lets you know. Mainly, there will be at least three familiar faces on the show, and none of them are human.

For starters, Brent Spiner is returning as Data. As Joe Biden would say, that’s a big fuckin deal. But perhaps that was expected. A return of the almost domesticated Borg, Hugh, played once again by Jonathan Del Arco is also happening, so bring her hankies. The biggest surprise for me, however, is the inclusion of Jeri Ryan’s Seven of Nine. It is here I admit that I know very little about Voyager. But even I know that this, as Joe Biden would say, is also a big fuckin deal, and then he'd call me dude. Joe Biden and I both think it's safe to say the plot involves the Borg.

If that trailer does hit, believe me, I’ll be right on it. If we have to wait for it, what the heck, it’ll be worth it. Picard is expected to arrive early 2020. I cannot hide how excited I am. Let’s just hurry up and be done with this garbage year already.
