The Drafthouse Has Just The Videos You Need To Get Pumped For HOBBS & SHAW

The high-octane spinoff we've been waiting for has finally arrived: Hobbs & Shaw, uniting Dwayne Johnson's badass Luke Hobbs with Jason Statham's dastardly Deckard Shaw for a global-spanning Fast & Furious mission involving Idris Elba, new action fave Vanessa Kirby (see also: Mission: Impossible – Fallout), surprise cameos, and so much more. But how did we get here, exactly? Hobbs & Shaw is in theaters this weekend, but there's only one theater where you can see this extremely crucial recap of the entire Fast & Furious franchise. 

Lucky for you, the folks at the Alamo Drafthouse happen to be buds of ours, and we got our hands on this awesome clip that explains the relationship between Hobbs and Shaw (those are the guys the movie is about!) and everything you need to know about this cuckoo-bananas action series – so far:

In honor of heist master Deckard Shaw and his way cooler mum, played by Helen Mirren (let her drive a car already, you cowards!), the Drafthouse team put together this extremely rad reel featuring some of the very best heist scenes from some of the very best movies of all time. "The Perfect Heist" has all the goods, including Heat (obviously), Point Break, Thief, and, well, just watch the thing:
