Kit Harrington, Gemma Chan and Barry Keoghan Just Joined THE ETERNALS

So THAT'S what Jon Snow's doing in the MCU.

The D23 expo is in full swing at the moment, and as per usual the Marvel portion of the panel is unloading new updates at a furious clip. The latest development? Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington has officially joined the cast of Chloé Zhao's The Eternals, which is scheduled to hit theaters next November. Harrington won't be playing an Eternal, but a character by the name of Dane Whitman, who some of you might know as the Black Knight.

But that's not all: also announced as joining the cast are The Killing of a Sacred Deer star Barry Keoghan and Crazy Rich Asians' Gemma Chan (who, curiously enough, recently appeared in Captain Marvel, though it doesn't seem she'll be playing the same character). They're all joining a sprawling cast which already includes (deep breath) Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, and Don Lee.

Nothing further to report at this time, but stay tuned for further updates as the D23 Disney Studios panel continues to have its way with us.
