Wakanda Forever: BLACK PANTHER II Is Officially Official
In a development that should not surprise anyone, Black Panther is officially getting a sequel. At this morning’s D23 Expo, Ryan Coogler came on stage with Kevin Feige to talk very shortly about the new film, basically just so we could know that it’s 1) coming and 2) he’s returning to make it.
The title treatment they showed the D23 hall read as Black Panther II, although that title is in no way final. (But, really, it should be. When will be a more appropriate time for Marvel to finally break out the Roman numerals?)

Black Panther II will come out May 6, 2022. That’s 2.5 years, so expect more updates later.
