Ricky Gervais To Finally Get Back To THE OFFICE With Spin-Off Movie

I might be going out on a limb here, but it seems as though many have soured on Ricky Gervais in the past couple years. And we all used to love the guy so much. It’s a shame. Or maybe it’s just my Twitter feed being bitchy.

Either way, Gervais is returning to doing what he does best in a BBC Films The Office spin-off movie called Life on the Road. David Brent is coming back, ready to supply the world with another million dancing gifs.

Life on the Road will be another mockumentary detailing the failures of David Brent’s rock career. I’m sure it will be very positive overall and will have a happy ending that will allow us to leave the theater with our heads held high. It also might be funny.

Shooting should begin next year. As of now, Gervais is the only confirmed cast member from The Office involved in the project.
