The New FANTASTIC FOUR Trailer Shows Off The Thing, Dr. Doom

A new trailer for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four just arrived, and it is...weird? Better than the last one? Rough around the edges? I don't know. As I've mentioned in the past, I'm the guy who's never read a Fantastic Four comic, so I'm probably not the best guy to weigh in on this latest batch of footage. But it's out, and our leading comics expert is deeply entrenched in Star Wars Celebration Weekend, so...I guess I'll give it a shot!

I like the weirdo "dimension-hopping" stuff. I like the obvious chemistry between Reed Richards (Miles Teller) and The Human Torch (Michael B. Jordan). I like the general tone they're striking here. I don't like the look of Dr. Doom (Toby Kebbell). I don't really care for the look of The Thing (Jamie Bell). I am ambivalent towards both Kate Mara and the effects being used to bring Sue Storm to life. That's all I got.
