Check Out This Behind The Scenes Look At THE INVITATION
If you haven’t gotten the idea yet, we’re pretty much all in love with The Invitation around here. The film, which you can totally get right now, is a wonderful work of slow-burning tension that everyone should see.
So I’m happy to share as much of the film as I can, and today that comes in the form of a behind the scenes featurette regarding Michiel Huisman’s character, David:
That should give you a good idea of the maybe justified, maybe not paranoia that fuels this film.
And speaking of The Invitation, there are some really cool screenings coming up. Chicago moviegoers can see it at the Music Box Theatre this Friday with director Karyn Kusama and co-writer Phil Hay in attendence and ready for a Q&A. Austin fans can see the film with a Q&A that will include Karyn, Phil, and other co-writer Matt Manfredi at the Alamo South Lamar this Saturday and Sunday. LA folks can attend Friday and Saturday showings at ArcLight Hollywood with special Q&As after the 8:15 screenings. This movie is getting Q&A'd like crazy!
You can see all the playdates here. But if you can't make it to any of those, you can also watch The Invitation on iTunes now.
