Thanos Gets Mad In D23 INFINITY WAR Poster

Avengers: Infinity War sounds like nothing we’ve ever seen in a superhero movie, and we, the 99%, didn’t even get to see the footage at D23! In fact, there hasn’t been any official marketing for the movie released to the general public, but like the recent Black Panther promo art, concept artist Ryan Meinerding has provided us with a hi-res look at what’s been making the rounds at the Expo:

I like this design for Thanos! He looks like a crazy in-shape grandpa who wants to start a fight with the youngins (incidentally, I have shared a gym with Stephen Lang, and that’s 100% the vibe I’m getting). That’s not all, the gauntlet he’s wielding is also complete with all six Infinity Stones, so if he wanted to, he could pretty much wipe out the entire galaxy from existence with a snap of his fingers. It wouldn't even be the first time he's done it!

The painting is a throwback to Infinity Gauntlet #1, which eventually became the cover for the Infinity Gauntlet paperback. It also features an extremely mad (though slightly jubilant?) Thanos, wielding a complete set of lens-flare Infinity Gems, all ready to do mass murder and impress lady Death:

Avengers: Infinity War is going to be very big. It arrives May 4^th.
