Chris Pratt’s COWBOY NINJA VIKING Arrives In 2019, Is Exactly What You Think It Is

Deadline is now reporting that Cowboy Ninja Viking - a movie about a Cowboy Ninja Viking starring Chris Pratt as said Cowboy Ninja Viking - has been given an official release date: June 28th, 2019. If you're thinking, "Is a Cowboy Ninja Viking what I think it is?", the answer is yes. 

Says Deadline:

"Pratt plays a guy who is a new kind of assassin who manifests the toughest skills of three different personas: Cowboy, Ninja and Viking. No director has been announced yet."

As our own Evan Saathoff just pointed out to me, Cowboy Ninja Viking sounds exactly like a movie dreamed up by Pratt's Parks And Rec character, Andy Dwyer. As it turns out, the film's actually going to be based on an Image Comic of the same name by A.J. Lieberman and Riley Rossmo. I've not read that book, but I've gotta assume this is action-comedy territory, right? 

Anyway, as noted above, no director has been attached to Cowboy Ninja Viking, but we'd imagine one will be along shortly. Sounds like the perfect sandbox for Guardians Of The Galaxy's James Gunn to play around in, doesn't it?
