Jude Law Joins The Increasingly Awesome-Sounding CAPTAIN MARVEL

First Marvel announced a Captain Marvel movie, and we were excited. Then they announced Brie Larson would be playing Carol Danvers, and we became very excited. Then we learned Ben Mendelsohn was climbing aboard to play Captain Marvel's villain, and our excitement became such that we had to be restrained and medicated. 

Now there's this: according to Variety, Jude Law is joining Captain Marvel as the film's male lead. We don't know who he's playing yet or anything (though Variety says he'll be a "mentor of sorts" who helps Carol work through her newly-established powers), but let's set that aside for a moment to acknowledge how truly excellent this film's cast is gonna be. Larson, Law, Mendelsohn. At a certain point, it's not even fair to other superhero movies.

Nothing further to report at this time, but BMD hype levels for Captain Marvel remain high, and will ensure we bring you many, many more updates as this film works its way towards its March 8th, 2019 opening.
