Burt Reynolds Has Died At The Age Of 82

Hollywood lost a legend today.

Sad news today, gang: according to The Hollywood Reporter, living legend Burt Reynolds has passed away at the age of 82. As of this writing, there's no further information on the cause of death, just that Reynolds was in Florida at the time of his passing.

Most recently, Reynolds had accepted a role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, where the actor was set to portray George Spahn, owner of the notorious Spahn Ranch which played home to the Manson Family cult. According to THR's Borys Kit, Reynolds was gearing up to go in front of Tarantino's cameras at some point in the next few weeks.

We'll have a lengthier, more fitting obituary to Reynolds on the site in the near future (our own Jacob Knight's plugging away at that as we speak), but for now we wanted to give BMD readers a place to discuss Reynolds' passing and his place in Hollywood history.
