Bad Cops, Great Poster: Check Out This UK One Sheet For DRAGGED ACROSS CONCRETE

S.Craig Zahler's latest gets a stark, ominous teaser poster.

In case you missed it, Dragged Across Concrete became one of my favorite films of 2018 after seeing it at Beyond Fest last week:

"This is outlaw cinema at its very finest, operating on a wavelength outside of the norm, dictated by a director who owns a distinct point of view, and doesn't seem to particularly care if you're 100% on board with his art or not."

Now, ahead of S. Craig Zahler's latest screening as part of the BFI London Film Festival tonight, Empire premiered a rather stark, ominous UK one sheet (a trend in recent Cinestate productions). Once you see the movie, the baby bootie that's in the foreground is going to take on a whole new meaning.

There's no firm official release date for Dragged Across Concrete as of yet (in either the US or UK), but we're dying for the rest of you to see it. The movie is going to no doubt be controversial (with Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn headlining as dirty cops who get caught up in a bank heist), but there's also something really special about the movie and its author's patient approach to pulp filmmaking. Hopefully, there's a teaser trailer released soon, so you can get a better idea of what to expect (because the movie certainly wasn't what I anticipated).

Stay tuned, y'all.
