The First Poster For Jordan Peele’s US Is Extremely Ominous
The first poster for Jordan Peele's new socially-conscious horror film, Us, just landed, and it's...well, it's extremely ominous. And mysterious. And sort of stressful to think about after a few seconds. Let's take a look...
Anyone else getting a Dead Ringers vibe from this? What's up with that red cloak? And those gloves? How about those solid gold scissors? We have no idea what's going on in this image, but we're both excited (and, yes, maybe a little scared) to find out. Whatever it is cannot be good.
By the way, if you missed our report on the matter the other day, here's a somewhat-official plot synopsis for Us, which doesn't tell us much more than the poster above:
"A mother (Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o from Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 12 Years a Slave) and a father (Winston Duke from Black Panther) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Emmy winner Elizabeth Moss from TV series The Handmaid’s Tale). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited."
We remain very intrigued by all this, and can't wait to find out what sort of game Peele's playing this time. Stay tuned for more on Us as further updates become available. Movie arrives on March 15th, which means we're probably gonna see the first trailer before the end of the year.
