There Is A Monster In This ANTLERS Trailer

I don’t know what it is about a trailer overtly set to rhythm that gets me so excited, but it works every time. Here is yet another example. The first trailer for Antlers was a lot more narrative-focused. This new one is all about atmosphere and tension. I like them both, but this one’s the clear winner:

So Antlers is the latest from Crazy Heart and Out of the Furnace’s Scott Cooper, with production help from none other than Guillermo del Toro. It has Jesse Plemons, Keri Russel, Amy Madigan and Graham Greene in it. I could keep going, but this is already must-see stuff.

But I’m mostly saying that because I’m just dying to know what this monster is going to be/look like. Given del Toro’s involvement as well as the kid saying “daddy” near the end, there’s probably a lot more to this creature than just being a scare generator. I, for one, am all for that.

Antlers is coming out some time next year. If we make it that long.
